01 laser cutting principle

The basic principle of laser cutting is: gather the laser on the material, locally heat the material until it exceeds the melting point, and then blow the molten metal away with coaxial high-pressure gas or metal vapor pressure. With the relative linear movement between the beam and the material, the hole is continuously formed into a very narrow slit.

The cutting process is related to the following factors: laser mode, laser power, focus position, nozzle height, nozzle diameter, auxiliary gas, auxiliary gas purity, auxiliary gas flow, auxiliary gas pressure, cutting speed, plate speed and plate surface quality.

It should be recognized that the accuracy of laser cutting machine is not only related to the equipment itself, but also related to external factors.
